Vintage Limoges Trinket Box Hand Painted Butterflies Insect Hasp Pill or Ring

This vintage Limoges pill or ring trinket box features hand painted multi-color butterflies on a gold background. The hinged lid is decorated with blue, red and purple flowers and is initialed by the artist. The hand painted decoration is highlighted by tiny white dot accents. It has an oval form and an insect hasp along with a simple interior decoration on the inside of both the box and the lid. The box has a small round crack on the inside near the hinge and light wear as expected with most vintage items. Otherwise, its in very good condition, free of chips, repairs and crazing. The small box measures 1 3/4" long x 1" wide x 1 1/4" high. It is marked LS Limoges France for LaSeynie and the bottom is signed by the artist. The age is unknown.
