    Description

    I measured the box without the lid as that indicates the capacity .. the lid overlaps the edges a bit.
    Note the potters mark.. if you know this mark with an E in the center..would you let me know what it is?
    I have seen this pattern in marks from Japan with different letter in the center of the branches.. including
    pottery made by Noritake that has an "N" in the center but can't find this exact mark doing reverse image searches.
    Not sure how old it is - I've had it a number of years and bought it at a local flea market in NYC.
    Though the box only weighs 8 ounces it needs careful packaging to keep it safe so the shipping weight will get up over a pound - ergo, I'm sending by priority mail..
