I acquired this fantastic piece in NJ some years ago.
Even though I had too much to take to the new house in Florida, I couldn't yet part with it. Alas, this house is just too small and up for sale it goes.
The piece does not have a mark that I can find.
I found only one other piece available for sale and it is said to be in the style of Hawkes.
The bottom has a hatch pattern similar to Hawkes Delft Diamond. The top has a cut maple leaf pattern. The rim also has a lovely, smooth cut pattern.
I do not know the age, but it has a rather mid-century feel.
The shape is egg shaped....fatter in the middle.
The measurements are: 8.75” high, top is 4” in diameter, bottom is 3” in diameter.
Weighs 5 pounds, 2 ounces.
Condition
:
No chip, cracks or repairs.
Some scratching on the bottom.
Crystal is very clear.
