NIKON FIELDSCOPE III ED ANGLED SPOTTING SCOPE 60 (some fogging on prism)

Hello,
This listing is for a Nikon Fieldscope III ED Angled Scope.
It has some fogging in the prism as you can see in the listing photos, as well as some tiny dots on one of the inner elements. The sealing appears to have failed and some moisture must have entered.
As far as the effect of the image, when looking at the half moon at night, the image is crystal clear. The moon is a very bright light source, and I would think that any impact of the fogging would show up there. By my own judgement, however, the image is crystal clear, and I would not hesitate to keep and use this scope.
However, because the seal is broken and some moisture appears to have entered the scope, please note that the scope is

Nikon Japan will not accept it for repairs any more, because of the age, but it
may still be covered under Nikon's lifetime warranty in other countries.
