    Description

    MGM Auction Roman movie prop armor Terence Longdon Drusus Ben Hur Officer.  The armor has both the breastplate and the back plate.  There are two rows of red leather on the sleeves and three rows of red leather on the skirting.  The top leather row on the skirting has round metal decorative oval disk on them all the way around.  The leather strappings on the sides along with buckles has dry rotted and is very fragile.  I am willing to rebuild these and replace them for a small fee if interested.  It would be a total of 12 leather straps needing replaced along with six having needing the buckles reattached.  Each of the 12 leather straps has and will need three rivets each holding the straps on for a total of removing 36 of the old rivets and then the replacing with new 36 rivets holding the new leather straps onto the armor to make it fully wearable.  To do all this work will be .
