Offering a beautiful antique Nippon hand painted gold gilt raised Moriage and Cobalt blue small footed pitcher decorated with pink  and yellow roses alternating red and green. This pitcher hasgently turned up rim with scalloped edges, a culed hankdle and is footed There are six light green
vignettes around the interior sides, each with alternating pink and yellow roses.  heavy gilded gold raised beads surround the vignettes and alternate between rich red and green shapes.  The Cobalt background color is also highlighted with gold fretwork along the border of the rim, handle and base.  The pitcher from the Pre Nippon period and is not marked. Piece measures 4.5'' to top of handle about 3.5''to spout and abput 4.5'' from spout to handle wide.
