    Description

    This is a super nice unusually heavy 7 lb. 13” x 7” two handled master decanter signed by Hawkes cut in the rare FLUTE pattern with an exceptionally large sterling locking top. The decanter was never ground for a glass stopper, they just had the cork, which is still there and unused. This decanter is very large and very rare to find. It is in excellent unused condition. I believe this to be a real rarity in cut glass. You really have to handle this piece to fully appreciate it. Wonderful quality blank, deeply cut. Super heavy. Great cut and polish. I handle a lot of glass and this is top quality. If you look for investment quality pieces this is a good piece to buy. Please feel free to call or email with any questions.
