    Description

    American Brilliant Period Cut Glass Pedestal Compote
    This beautiful American Brilliant Period cut glass compote measures 6-1/4" high by 7" across the rim.
    The bowl is deeply and beautifully cut with Gothic arches, fans, silver grated diamonds, cross-hatched rectangles and finely step-cut triangles.
    The stem is tapered and paneled.
    The rim and foot are cut all around in crescent or half-moon cuts.
    I found only a very small chip on the edge of the foot between two crescent cuts. Shown greatly enlarged below.
    The blank is super clear, the compote rings sharply, and it is otherwise free of chips, cracks, clouding or even the usual base scuffing.
