    Description

    This is a gorgeous and lovely rare cut glass Bowl.
    This measures 6" wide top rim by 2-7/8" tall/deep.
    It is from the American brilliant period, from the later half in the early 1900's.
    It has the Trefoil Hawkes signature in the center.  This pattern is shown on a 6" plate in Pearson's Encyclopedia of American Brilliant Cut Glass, volume III, page 209.
    The pattern is interesting and unique with the wheel shape etched motifs alternating with punties and garlands of stars.
    Condition: This is 100 years old or more.  So it has the very fine scratches on bottom from surface contact as to be expected.  Upon my second inspection, I felt a very tiny indent on the top of the rim that is either from a bubble being cut through or a tiny fleabite, it blends in well though due to the notched rim and is tiny(see last picture above)....   No other issues or damages like large or noticeable chips, no cracks, no age crizzling or cloudy residues, etc.  It is in good condition for a glass bowl of this age.
