Description
This is a gorgeous and lovely cut glass Bowl. It a 3 sided shape that almost resembles a heart. This measures 6-1/4" wide by 5-1/2" wide by 1-1/2" tall/deep.
It is from the American brilliant period, from the later half in the early 1900's.
I do not see a signature on this one. It is a thick and quality blank with great white clarity. Was definitely blown by a quality company and the cutting house did an excellent job laying out the gang wheel cut flowers stemming from a star shape set of leaves in the center. This one is fully cut, it not a watery looking pressed and recut blank
Condition: This is 100 years old or more. So it has the very fine scratches on bottom from surface contact as to be expected, and microscopic imperfections in the sawtooth rim that can happen just from being cut, but no large fleabites or teeth missing. No damages like large or noticeable chips, no cracks, no age crizzling or cloudy residues, etc. It is in good condition for a glass bowl of this age.
